Our Half Day excursion will take you on safe, easy to navigate routes through the amazing mountains of the Costa Dorada. This tour is perfect for families. Even when someone hasn't been on a bicycle for years or thinks he or she is not fit. It is your chance to escape the tourist bubble, to enjoy the calming yet excilerating landscape and the fresh breezes.
We have child seat attachments for younger children and trailer bike attachments for children 4 - 8 years old. We work hard to ensure that we provide greener more sustainable excursions.
This benefits not only the local rural communities but also provides you, our customers, with a unique opportunity to see an area with no public transport links and marvel at this stunning region.
Pick-up
Our pick-ups will start around 9:00 am and you will be back around 14:00.
Practice & Safety Session
We appreciate the vast majority of our customers haven’t ridden a bike for a while and we want to give you the opportunity to get back on a seat!
Once we have collected you we will start the excursion with a brief practice and safety session to give you the confidence of being back on a bike, before heading up to the mountains. During the short 25 mins journey, your guides will entertain you with their knowledge of the region’s history, culture and life style.
Free wheeling fun
Once we arrive, the bikes are off loaded and the free wheeling fun begins! Our lead vehicle will show you the way. You will cycle through rustic villages, lush vineyards, olive groves and pine forests. The smell of the wild flowers and blossoms, together with the stunning scenery and views of the coast will delight you.
Eagles soar above your head and you may be lucky enough to see the wild deer, rabbits and boar that live in the region. The bike ride is done in 2 stages, the first stage approx. 7 km and the second 15 km. 90% downhill and the remaining 20% easy pedalling on the flat and slight inclines.
